Dave went above and beyond what we expected of a realtor. When we went for a viewing he told us there was no pressure and that if we wanted to make an offer to simply let him know. He didn't try to tell us the house would sell asap so that we would jump on it, even though we knew it's a hot market. When we did decide to make an offer it was at 9 pm on a Saturday night and with his crying newborn in the background over the phone, Dave stayed up late to put together our offer. To say we were impressed is an incredible understatement. Once our offer was accepted Dave helped us throughout every part of the home buying process. He took us to City Hall to check for any permits and liens on the property which most realtors would not take the time to do. When we needed a recommendation for either a building inspector or a law firm, etc, he wouldn't just provide one recommendation, but at least three so we could do our own research and decide for ourselves! All the while he was extremely patient in answering all of our questions, including promptly responding to every text, email and phone call regardless of the time of day. When he knew he was going to be unavailable, he always gave us plenty of notice in advance. After closing the deal, Dave personally met us at the house to hand over the keys and to do a final walk through. Upon arrival at the house, he immediately sent an email to the seller's realtor requesting the sold sign be removed from our front yard, without us asking about it. He then presented us with several incredibly thoughtful and personalized house warming gifts. We were extremely touched. Our overall experience with Dave Delorme was beyond positive. There was never a shadow of a doubt that Dave always had our best interest in mind. His friendly, respectful, trustworthy and professional demeanor made the whole home buying process extremely smooth and as enjoyable as buying a house can be! We couldn't have asked for a better realtor and we can not recommend him enough. Thanks again Dave!
