The project, which has been in the works for several months, will provide much-needed rental options in a growing area. Here's a breakdown of the key details:
Building details
The building will be six stories tall and feature a mix of unit sizes, including:
- 20 studios
- 70 one-bedroom units
- 49 two-bedroom units
- 5 three-bedroom units
Parking and Storage
Residents will have access to ample parking with 133 underground stalls and plenty of long-term bicycle storage (109 spaces).
Amenities
The building will offer a variety of amenities for residents, including a common amenity room and private outdoor space for ground floor units facing Highway 33 and Barber Road. There will also be a rooftop amenity space, though details haven't been finalized yet.
Green Space
The developer is committed to incorporating green space into the project by planting eight large trees on the property. Additionally, they are contributing $61,000 to the Public Amenity and Streetscape fund.
